Hi everyone! I'm pretty new to the board and to Jeff's music. I fell in love with his music the minute I first heard him on jeffbuckley.com. I can't get enough. I think I've bought every CD available since first hearing him in January and have read everything there is to know about him online and from Merri Cyr's photo book. For anyone who hasn't seen or read it yet, it's a must have! What a magnificent person! I just created my own JB meetup group for upstate NY. I wondered if there are any Jeff fans out there in my area of NY. I've read several posts of other dedicated Jeff Buckley fans from around the world but haven't seen much for upstate and western NY. If anyone is interested in talking Buckley, post me a message!

Hello Melissa,
Welcome to Jeff Buckley Meet Up. I hope you meet many others who share your passion for Jeff's music. My name is Aimee. Although I'm not in NY, I would be more than happy to talk Jeff with you. I'm in So. Cali. I wish I were in NY. There seems to be more of a following of Jeff's music in NY. He was raised in Cali. but he made NY his home. I would love to visit St Ann's Cathedral were he played. I would also like to visit Sine'. Have you been to either? Well I hope to hear from you soon. Aimee |

Hi
I've been a Jeff Buckley fan for a little less than a year, and like the first poster, I've probably got every imaginable album. Recently on Limewire I downloaded 3 songs (none can be found commercially) entitled "Dancing in the Moonlight", "Spoon", and "Come Together". All of which are credited to Jeff. But none of the voices sound like his. Perhaps he was on guitars.. I was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this. Thanks! |
